10. Right to data portability

You have the right to lodge a complaint in the EU member state of your place of residence, your place of work, and/or the place of the alleged infringement, i.e. you can choose the supervisory authority to which you turn in the above-mentioned places. The supervisory authority with which the complaint has been lodged will then inform you of the status and the results of your submission, including the possibility of a judicial remedy under Art. 78 GDPR.

LEGINDA GmbH is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

We process personal data that you provide to us as part of a translation order, such as name, contact details, billing information, and document content, in order to carry out the order properly.

Data is used exclusively for order processing, invoicing, customer communication, and quality assurance.

Processing is based on Article 6(1) (b) (performance of a contract) and (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

The data will only be passed on to subcontractors (e.g. freelance translators) if this is necessary for the execution of the order. All subcontractors are obliged to maintain confidentiality.

If processing is carried out by subcontractors in third countries, we ensure that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by EU standard contractual clauses.

  1. Duration of data storage 

Your data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose or due to legal requirements.
